The safety of our employees is paramount in all of NTL’s operations. We provide regular training for our staff and offer continuous upgrades and refresher programs for all aspects of the safety program. We believe in a safe work environment and expect all of our employees to follow safe work practices.

Appropriate PPE

  • Footwear, eye wear, hardhats, PFDs
  • Bunker clothing, breathing apparatus
  • Safety equipment – Annual 3rd party inspection of all firefighting equipment and systems

Security 

  • Terminal compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)
  • Marine Facility Security Plan
    • Audited on regular intervals by Transport Canada
